Gratitude
March 18, 2020
Right now, in what may still be the prologue to a pandemic, I’m thinking about a lot that I have going for myself.
I’m thankful to have a comfortable home.
I’m thankful to have a loving partner who I could spend and infinite amount of time with and still enjoy being around.
I’m thankful that I have a job where I can work remotely.
I’m thankful that I live within walking distance of UCSF hospital.
I’m thankful that I don’t have to worry about my financial resources.
I’m thankful that I’m young, healthy, fit, and low risk for this Covid thing (mild asthma being the only caveat).
I’m thankful that I live in a beautiful city where I can walk, run, and bike.
I’m thankful for a deep network of friends who make me feel like I’m never really alone.
